We did a major update to onaswarm this morning:
- existing users can invite people to join onaswarm
- all accounts have been set to display in "swarm/lifestream" mode all the time; this is the default that most users seem to want -- it can be changed in your preferences
- everyone's account is now basically a swarm -- your friends are aggregated into your account automatically
- we've removed a lot of unused stuff that was being downloaded
- we've stopped serving media files from onaswarm.com -- they're coming from S3 now
- quick profile - we walk you through the initial setup phases
-
we've added a much better feed-add page: many feeds can be added by account name. we recognize
- rss
- ical
- find
- blogger
- delicious
- flickr
- jaiku
- lastfm
- livejournal
- magnolia
- msnspaces
- myspace
- picasa
- pownce
- stumbleupon
- typepad
- wordpress
- youtube
- vox
We're getting to the point where we're going to do official annoucements. If you're interested in an invitation, send an e-mail to onaswarm@onaswarm.com.
What's left to add? Well:
- OpenAuth for some services
- OpenID for identification
- Onaswarm Widgets
More on these later, but they're not critical path items by any means.
